So i just got in from work and sat on my bed was a brown envelope! Yay my book!.. but ohh moment of truth.. is it going to look good! After a bad experience with another online book maker i was apprehensive!
Shocked at how quick it came as ordered it late tuesday night and it said it would take a week!.

But i am very happy its all there and how i wanted it to look!

Sent!

After quite a stressful evening on tuesday i finally created and ordered my book!
It took me a good hour to plan the layout and after completing the pages i had some real difficultly with the software that was used for creating the book, it just wasn't letting me order it! Not quite sure what was wrong with it but after another hour of shouting at my screen and saving the layout about 10 ten times it eventually worked! Thank god!
So just awaiting and hoping that the book will arrive in time and look how i have planned it too!

Coming to an end...

After finishing my last few shoots, i needed to decide which way i would go with the style of my portraits. Being mainly inspired by the photos from another magazine below, i still wanted to take from there idea but i also wanted to use the style that I'm sure would have influenced those images, the Andy Warhol pop art style.
I looked into finding a photoshop tutorial on you tube to guide me in the right direction and this is a what i came up with. At first it really doesn't look so great and the guy has a slightly annoying voice..! but following the steps i got some great outcomes!

Two of my final portraits!

Book Style..

After doing some research into styles of books and where i can get them made through the internet, the book design i am going to use is off the website Pixum. I aim for an editorial/magazine style format
which i think will keep the theme for my images.

Progress...

Project is on track.. I have one more shoot to do then onto the manipulating.
Only worry is getting book back in time for deadline but I'm sure it will be fine :)
